My face is bright red after a wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: I had all four wisdom teeth removed two days ago. So far everything has been fine, but today my face is bright red. I haven't been putting any ice on it so far today, so that can't be why. My face is warm to the touch, but i don't have a fever. I took a shower, but it didn't help at all. Is this normal? Should I call my doctor?

Go back to your dentist and ask for anti-biotics to be on the safe side, because occasionally one or more of the tooth cavities don't bleed after removal and can get infected, if your dentist is closed or you can't see him straight away, go to the emergency dentist, this may be within your ordinary emergency hospital.

Yes call your dentist now!1 Doc W
