How often do i have to change my rubber bands for my braces?!

If your dentist didn't say when to wear them, I would call to check. And if you find out that you have to wear them all day then here's when to change them:
Before and after eating
Before and after brushing your teeth
When you wake up
Before you go to bed.
If you feel they are getting stretched out
If your dentist said to wear them in the day:
Before and after eating
Before and after brushing your teeth
Whenever you feel they are getting stretched out
If your dentist said to only wear them at night then you don't really change them at night. Just wear a different pair each time, but you probably already knew that.
Your headache is normal, just so you know. And do NOT wear them while eating. You could accidentally eat one and that is not good. Also, don't wear them while brushing your teeth.

I have to wear mine all the time exept when I eat but I leave them in. I get a headake from mine too!
