Can a new dental crown be ground down so a partial plate will fit over it?!

Question:

Can a new dental crown be ground down so a partial plate will fit over it?

Answers:

I'm not sure if you already have a partial or are getting a new one. If you already have a partial, the crown should have been made to fit inside of the clasp. If it wasn't and the partial will not fit, then the choice is to remake the partial or remove the clasp and attempt to remake a new one [lots of luck]. I assume you are talking about a clasp? If you are talking about the pink plastic then it can be ground down to fit around the crown.
