eat a popsicle? its cold and it tastes good =P
suck on some ice and take some tylnol
take a painkiller
Take medication for the pain, maybe Tylenol.
Take some ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol). My son had the same problem but it went away in just a few days. Good luck!
I know braces can suck, but the end result of beautiful teeth is worth it! I tell my patients that if they can take ibuprofen, to take 800mg every 6-8 hours on a full stomach until the soreness starts to ease up. The soreness usually only lasts a day or two. Good Luck and hang in there! =)

watch a movie, take your mind off of them, im getting mine off in a month after almost 3 years, trust me they arnt THAT bad after a few days :) good luck!
