I will be getting braces (hopefully) and they are expensive. I went to visit my Orthodontist to get information, and he said it will cost $5000.
The good thing about it, is that it is a flat fee. So no matter how many other procedures they will have to do before/after you get your braces, there will be no extra or added cost.
My insurance will only cover up to $1000 of the price and 50% of the down payment. (which is about $700). I am not excited about hearing how much the monthly payments will be, because my mom is going to freak!
They are around $5000. Some insurance companies will cover part of it. You probably wouldn't have them for more than 2 years, but it's a wait-and-see process.
