The back of my front tooth is coming off? Help!?
So, where one of my front teeth is, the gum is BIG and red, and today while my dad was driving me home, it felt like the back of my tooth was coming OFF, kind of like a layer of the back, HELP!

I will go to the dentist, DUH, but I just want advice if you know my problem, and please don't act like a jerk in your answers, it's moronic!

It is possible that your gum is swollen due to buildup (plaque and tartar) being present. Plaque is soft and then turns in to hard (like cement) tartar. Sometimes this tartar chips off and that may be what you are feeling. I would recommend an exam, cleaning and cavity checking xrays with your dentist or hygienist if you haven't done this recently.
