Got my Wisdom Teeth pulled out...?!

Question:

Got my Wisdom Teeth pulled out...?

I got them pulled out and wanted to ask some questions. What can I eat on the first day? And what should I stay away from? Can I eat more on the second day and more variety, or should I watch out and not eat certain stuff? Also, am I allowed to be active, and stuff, and are you allowed to smoke or not? Just wanted some info, Thanks in advance!

Answers:

I got mines out almost 2 weeks ago.
What can I eat on the first day? Soups, yogurt, mash potatoes, porriage, jello, ice cream. Or using a blender for harder foods.
And what should I stay away from? Hard food. Meats. Chewing can be hard.
Can I eat more on the second day and more variety, or should I watch out and not eat certain stuff? I didn't eat reg food until day 4. My jaw/teeth hurt to open wide. But go soft and build up from there.
Also, am I allowed to be active, and stuff, and are you allowed to smoke or not? My doc gave me instructions to take it easy the first week. No smoking for 3 days. Exercising or strenuous work can cause more pain or some bleeding.
For the first 24 hours, use ice. But after, switch to a heating pad or warm towel. It keeps the swelling down. It worse on day 3 but comes down from there. Sleeping with your head elevated, with 2 pillows, can help. Rinse with warm salt water after every meal. And keep up with the pain pills. =)
