I'm pregnant and I need to have a tooth pull out and I don't .....?!


Question: have insurance. ( I'm getting one BUT It will not cover until 6 months)

I have to go and specialist.....because I have to have a surgery. Is the wisdown tooth.
Anyway I'll like to know how much it will cost??? I live in USA FLORIDA.??

ANY IDEA????

If it isnt something that has to be done right now i.e/ severe pain or infection they wont do it now. Which means you would have th insurance by the time it can be done.I had to wait to have mine done when I was pregnant but I did have a tooth that was absessed and they did take care of it.Call the dentist and find out if they will do it first then ask how much.Good Luck

They may not be willing to do it while you are pregnant.

Seeing how you are pregnant, I would wait until after the baby is born. I have been told that you don't get tattoos and piercings while you are pregnant because it stresses the body and the baby, I imagine it is about the same. Also in order to have surgery, you'll need some kind of pain medicine, most obgyn's don't recommend pain medicine strong enough to aid surgery, so try and wait it out. One more thing, I have had a tooth pulled and it was around 400-500 dollars.
