Dose it hurt to get the ortho to take out a loose tooth?!
Question: im about to get braces and i still have 1/2 of a tooth left hanging on my the gum. Dose it hurt when the ortho takes it out with numming stuff? cause it has to come out to put the braces on??? HELP ME!

I've never experienced having to have the professional take out my loose tooth. Once I had a baby tooth that was ready to be loose, but it was also interfering with the growth of my adult teeth (made them come in crowded) and the dentist told me that I needed to hlep it along or else she would have to do it for me next time I came in.
The way that I always got loose teeth out was that I'd press really hard on them for a few seconds and then let go and then they'd come out.. i told a friend to do that and it worked in no time (after she'd been stressing over it for a long time even)
If he puts numming stuff it shouldn't hurt but hey weve all pulle out our own teeth it hrts for about 5 seconds then its fine..
When I was younger I had 5 of my teeth pulled out in one sitting (due to overcrowding). I have to admit I was extremely nervous before the surgery. When I got to the dentist, he gave me the anesthetics, and then got to work pulling out my teeth. I am confident in saying that it didn't hurt at all. My nerves calmed down immediately after the surgery.
Don't be scared. The anesthetic shot is meant to completely numb the area. You won't be able to feel a thing. :D
My daughter's ortho never pulls teeth so i'm not sure. If it is hanging can you pull it? I hate to say yes and I hate to say no cause every dentist is different in how they numb your gums.
