Question: i am getting the trays from the dentist. what kind should i get? and can i use my top and bottom retainers instead of the molds??

What is the dentist's recommendation?
The dentist will tell you what he thinks is right for you. No you can not use retainers as trays as they will not hold the bleach. And... in my opinion, you will be ruining your teeth by bleaching them. Also, did your dentist tell you that many people have sensitivity problems with bleaching? I know a dental hygienist that could not open her mouth in cold weather for year due to the sensitivity caused by bleaching. Also, if you have any restorations, they will not bleach out. Leaving you with those a different color. Bleached teeth are a real pain to dental tech as they are hard to duplicate in color.
