If you've had a tooth implant, how many doctors + dental visits did this tot!

Question: ty

Answers: ty

If the implant is already in place and if it has been exposed (or was left exposed) and all the healing from any needed surgery is done, you are ready to start the restorative phase.

This can be done a couple of different ways, but it is generally done with only one or two more visits, spaced about a month apart or less.

Try this website (it's from the American Dental Association---ADA) for info on tooth implants. There is a link to FAQ's also. Also check with your dentist, it's good to ask questions to understand your teeth situation.

1 dentist did the whole thing himself in 1 visit. I did have to go back for an X-ray, and to put in another temporary crown.
