Matty, call your dentist immediately, it is probably a "dry socket"...which happens when the blood clot at the site of a tooth extraction is dislodged, exposing underlying bone and nerves and causing increasing pain. Your pain should be getting better, not worse. Your dentist can treat the dry socket by you going into the office & he/she will pack the dry socket with a little piece of gauze with medicine on it. It may sound bad, but I promise you, the pain goes away almost immediately. I know the feeling because I've had more than a few & I am a dental hygienist. Don't worry about being a "sissy" about it either, it is a common occurrence that happens often. Hope this helps.

it will be sore for a few days.. if after that it still hurts alot got to your doctors

tooth extraction does hurt, you have been doing right with rinsing your mouth, but it sounds as if there might be an infection, especially if the tooth was badly infected before extraction, go along and see your Doctor, you will probably be put on a course of antibiotics, best to be on the safe side!!!
