Are the prereq's and dental hygiene school hard?? Is it unbearably hard or just challenging? I'm already
trouble with chemistry... am I doomed?

The school I went to only accepted 12-16 people a year, so getting in was very hard. Prereq's yes the regulars english, algebra, anatomy and physiology I and II, chem, biology, etc. Dental hygiene school was very difficult, but I went through an associate program so you do in 2 years what the bachelors program does in 3. No pay isn't different w/ an associate. If you plan to teach later or work for a company like Crest, etc then you might want bachelors degree. Hardest part was finding the right/dependable patients. Boards are very challenging.
