Tooth Pain! Please help me i'm in pain! How do I fix this?!
Question: For the last 4 days my gum's have been hurting me, but it feels beyond my gums, it feels like the roots of my back teeth are hurting a lot.
I'm seeing the dentist tomorrow, is there anyway I can numb the pain to go through the night. I'll try ANYTHING.

A dentist would tell you to take 800mg of ibuprofen every 6-8 hours until you can get to the office. Warm salt water rinses also can help soothe the mouth. Hope this helps and you get some sleep tonight. Good Luck =)

I had something like that and used bonjela like a gum cooler kind of thing or you could try clove oil on your tooth it numbs it like an injection would in the dentist its great ! i always get toothache and thats what i use and 2 ibrufen & 2 paracetomol if its the side of your mouth try a hot water bottle and lean your face on it. Also i know its hard but try to think of other things and they pain will dim down a lil bit, hope you get better!
You can also try any of the over the counter medications such as Orajel or Anbesol.
You can use Clove Oil you MUST dilute it first about 50-50 with water.
Rub the mixture on the gums and this will completely numb the area. Again you MUST dilute it first. You can find it in the pharmacy area of your local drugstore or department store.
Things like Aleve and Advil will help, or Motrin. You can buy Anbesol, which is a liquid you put where it hurts to numb the pain. Lastly, an old remedy is rubbing whiskey on the gums if you can't find the Anbesol. Gargle salt water also a few times to clean the gums they are infected.

Okay, go to Walmart or any drug store-
Buy a small bottle of LIQUID orajel,
Use a q-tip and apply liberally to the area that hurts.
It tastes bad, but numbs amazingly well.
I think you can reapply it every two hours, too-
