Hi,
if you are getting it out at the dentist it does not take long, the same time as any other tooth.
I had to have one of mine took out at the hospital as it was growing at a angle and the dentist could not get to it, so they put me under sadation.

for the four of mine i had taken out 25-30 min

How clever are you?

When I had all my widom teeth out..it took them 10-15 minutes to get the three out. My fourth one was a little stinker, it took him about 20-25 minutes to get it out cause it was imbedded, and going right under my molar..god it was soo annoying having their hands in my mouth! lol =P

The timing depends on the position of the wisdom tooth in your jaw bone. If the crown portion is visible completely and is straight then it may require about 10-15 minutes after local anesthesia has been administered. Some wisdom teeth may be improperly placed in the bone (referred to as impacted teeth) the removal of which is dependent on various factors such as the angulation of the tooth, the amount of bone covering it and the shape of the roots. In ideal cases an impacted tooth can be removed within 20 minutes. In certain cases the bone may need to be trimmed or the tooth may need to be cut in half to facilitate easy removal wherein it may take about 30-40 minutes. Not to worry about pain during the whole process as local anesthesia if properly administered will keep the area numb for almost 2 hours.

how long is a bit of string? it depends on the roots, the positioning of the tooth there are so many different factors it could take as quick as 5 mins or 1 hrs
