Question: i was looking at websites for braces since im getting braces really soon and i saw something that scared the $hit out of me take a look for yourself!!! :

That close up picture makes is look a lot worse than it is. It hurts the 1st day or 2 that you have them, but nothing a little tylenol cant take care of. Then when you get them tightened it hurts for a day, but it's not unbearable. The only time it will really hurt is if you get socced in the mouth or something. Plus, when you get them off you're left with beautiful straight teeth, that are well worth it !!!
You might not get those kinds! I had a reallyyyyy bad overbite and got Herbst that look worse than that but they are really not that bad. Beleive me, after a while you won't even notice that they are there.
braces arent that bad the second pic look more like it, but surely you dont have an overbite?
Dont worry. Braces of all types hurt at first. But eventually the pain suppsides and you cant feel it at all.
