Bad taste from medicine in mouth - how do I get rid of this?!

Question: I am taking a puffer called Flovent for Asthma and didn't know I was supposed to rinse out my mouth after using it. I have the most awful tinny taste in my mouth - any suggestions on how to get rid of this? Thank you!

A few things to try number 1:

Listerine Mouth Wash

Number 2:

Coca-Cola or Diet Coke
and the never fail solution but hard to do:

Lemon Juice

Rinse your mouth with any of those and the taste should be gone.

Hope this helps!

You must rinse your mouth out after using inhalers. I would try something like Listerine or Biotene. Then when you don't have that 'tingy' taste anymore, make sure that you rinse your mouth with water after every time you use your inhaler. You can end up with 'thrush' from these inhalers. If your mouth has white patches, you may have thrush. Contact your prescribing doctor.
