The brackets (the square parts attached to your teeth) are fitted inside a mold, which I'm sure they took of your teeth a few weeks or so before. Your teeth are then sanded and the brackets are 'cemented' onto your teeth by being held in your mouth for a little while, sort of like pressing down something you're gluing to a wall.

The molds are big, so it will be slightly uncomfortable but it wont hurt. After the brackets are fit on, a wire will be threaded through each bracket. This will be a little scary and uncomfortable because there will be wires sticking out as they adjust your braces, but you'll be fine! Depending on how tight they need your braces to be, you mouth may be quite sore for two or three days and its best to eat soft foods like mash potatoes, soup etc. Standard painkillers will help if you get any headaches. You'll get used to them in a few weeks :D

They pretty much just glue on the brackets onto your teeth then push the wire into to brackets. Getting them put on doesn't hurt but your teeth will be incredibly sore for the next week or so!!

They aren't that bad but they food gets stuck in them ridiculously easily (very annoying).

First thing they will do is remove the spacers they placed in between the molars. Then they will fit a band around the molars....they will cement it in (the cement tastes kinda yuck). Then they will place brackets on each tooth with the same type of cement. Next a wire is put onto the bands and snapped into each bracket. They will secure the wire the tiny colored (or not colored...your choice) rubber bands. And that is about it. It is super easy and pretty much a painless procedure. They will give you instructions on how to care for them. A couple hours after they put them on, you will be sore and probably want to take some Advil. Hope this helps and good luck tomorrow! =)

ur SAAAAAAD we talked aabout this on the phone they dont hurt
