well.. that is weird.. he being a doctor should be conscious about those things specially if your always seeing a patient everyday... telling him that he has bad breath is really a bit too nasty... may insult him.. offering him some gum or something that would ease his bad breath might be the safest way....

what does looks have to do with bad breath

thats funny. pull out a piece of gum for you and then say oh, how rude of me, would you like one too. and just do it everytime, hoping that he will finally give in.

Maybe he's been lax in the oral hygiene department and thinks he's got away with it. After all you can't smell your own breath. Perhaps you should tell him that he hasn't.

No excuse, but it's probably because he is running from the time he gets there and no lunch or minimal drinking of liquids. Does it always smell horrible? I would say something for his sake - maybe he doesn't know.

just tell him his breath stinks pppppppppppppp ---------uuuuuuuuuuuuu make a nasty face and say what's that smell ---than say oh sorry was ur breath

Tell him very politely.
If he can't take it and seems to hold a grudge, get a different doctor.
You can't be the only patient suffering through this. I bet lots of people have switched physicians just because of this. If you tell him you could save his career!!
You'll be a hero.
