Does anyone know if United Concordia will cover the cost of night guards?!

Question:

Does anyone know if United Concordia will cover the cost of night guards?

Answers:

That all depends on your individual policy. The best thing that you can do is to call customer service and ask if they cover them. They may ask you for a procedure code(it's D9940), and be sure to ask if they cover it for bruxism(grinding), because some insurance policies only cover nightguards if done after gum surgery. I'm in the dental field, and I know that insurance companies can be pretty particular about paying for nightguards. Hope this helps.
