i heard that i have to take it off while i sleep?
is that true? and why is it bad to?

yes yes i knoww wear them as much as possible so it could fasten the speed of getting my braces off right?

you change your rubberbands after you brush your teeth, after you eat, and if your kissing someone you need to change them like every couple hours. you only take them off when your brushing your teeth or when your eating. you dont have to take them off when you sleep. they actually work better when you sleep. but just where them when ever you can.

your orthodontist should have explained all this to you. Its different for different peope.

It depends on what your orthodontist says. Some remove at night, others don't. Please ask your orthodontist if you don't understand - this is highly customized to the kind of braces you have, the condition of your teeth, the frequency of your appointments, all that good stuff.

umm well taking off rubber bands when you eat is kind of a must l0lz, it is gross to eat with them on and it is kind of hard, i am not sure about taking then off when u sleep, if u rly want to know then ask your orthodontist, and yes try to wear them as much as possible it does speed up the proccess of getting them removed! =D umm, also change them about once every day

You must follow your orthodontists intructions , it is different for everyone . As to what they do , rubber bands get rid of overbites and underbites . Good luck !!
