Darkness around bracket?!

Question: So, I've had braces for about 3 weeks and on my upper right eye tooth's bracket has a darkness close to the bracket. It looks like it could continue under the glue of my bracket.
I brush my teeth ALL the time...this couldn't be decay could it?

Congratulations on your braces! The darkness is probably just some of the glue that got squeezed out from underneath the bracket. Areas like this can trap plaque, so make sure you brush around your brackets very well. You can't develop decay thats advanced enough to be dark in color in 3 weeks. Your orthodontist would have noticed it before placing the brackets. Keep brushing!
