Powerchains are an evil invention by orthodontists to make life horrible! Just kidding, but seriously they hurt for a couple days. Basically they are a continuous chain of elastic ligatures that are used to close gaps in your teeth. As for rubberbands, most people get them and they are for fixing your bite, not for if you grind your teeth. Good luck!
i watched this video on youtube and this guy had powerchains he said they were to close up a gap he had. and the rubberbands are probably that your teeth don't grind as much and pop off a bracket.
i just got powerchains today they are the same as rubber bands but they are atached together and they hurt bad
