My teeth have gone through so much pain!?!

Question: Ok so i have had braces for 2 years, i have had many procudures done to my GUMS & TEETH due to the braces.i have gotten 2 grown-up teeth pulled out (room for braces) i have had 3 surgerys on my gums & then a 4th one next month. I get a cleaning every 4 months, for my braces i have had the chain, the rubber bands, & the head gear.i take 2 medications for my gums, & 1 for my teeth. my dentist, periodontist& orthodontist says all the work will pay off when i get my braces off. my teeth are straight except for a gap on the left side of my mouth. it isnt that big. I think that is the only reason my braces are still on is to close the gap. They estimated i would have my braces on for 3 years. With all that work done do you think my braces will get off next year?

( its not like i dont brush & floss daily. i do that 3 times a day)( the problem is, is my braces make it harder for me to floss & i have developed Gingivities (or how ever u spell it)

Wow. And I thought I had it bad! I have braces still about 3 1/2 years now and I get them off in a few months. Can't you just ask your orthodontist when you get them off? last time i went, i just asked the receptionist and she looked at my file and said probably a few more months. my teeth are all straight except the tiniest little gap on the left side too. so they are just gonna tighten them one more time and i'll be done. so if you're teeth are all straight, it probably will be in the next year. but just ask your ortho, its not that difficult.

It depends on your age, the younger you are, the sooner your teeth will be straightened
