What is the difference between D.D. and D.D.S.?!

Question:

What is the difference between D.D. and D.D.S.?

Answers:

Dentists in the United States can be either DDS or DMDs.

DDS = Doctor of Dental Surgery.
DMD = Doctor of Dental Medicine.

DDS and DMD are the same degree. Just different letters. Both are dentists.

Hope this helps.
