Extraction treatment with invisalign?!

Question: I have i braces on 6 months ago and now i have two extraction tooth. I want to take off my braces and start my extraction treatment with invisalign. Is it possible? Because my dentist told me that i can't change to invisalign unless my extraction gap is close. However, i did some research, there are a few cases that possible to close the gap with invisalign. If anyone have any imformation about this...please let me know...thank you

HELLO,
YES, SMALL GAPS MAY EASILY BE CLOSED USING INVISALIGN, BUT THE EXPENSE MAY NOT JUSTIFY THE COST.
WHY CAN'T YOUR CURRENT BRACES JUST CLOSE THESE SPACES?

Metal braces are better for closing the gap
