Wisdom tooth question?!

Question: Last year I had a wisdom tooth come through really crooked. (Just not enough room for it). In December the dentist pulled it out and everything settled down really well.
However, it has left me with a big hole in my gum, which can fill up with bits of food.
Over time, will the gum sort of reduce the size of the hole - or will it be there forever?

I had three wisdom teeth pulled. For me, the holes took a long time to close but it will eventually close (like 6 months or so). For now, try to keep it clean and avoid chewing on that side.

it will heal and feel just like a part of your gum that has no tooth.

Ya it will take awhile to close. I had mine out last may and some of the holes have closed but some have not. Although I know it is a pain when you get food in there.
