What is the cure for halitosis?!

Question:

What is the cure for halitosis?

inspite of being hygenic (4 times a day thorough brushing, flossing & tongue scrapping) and a healthy lifestyle (not an alcohol drinker & doesn't smoke) the halitosis is still there.

Answers:

Commonly halitosis is caused by improper hygiene of the oral cavity. But in some cases, it can be caused by the food that we eat like garlic.

It other cases, this represents some GIT problems. There can be a disorder in the normal function of the esophago-gastric sphincters that may cause reflux of some food particles you ate. Since this food particles are not already in the stomach, it promotes bacterial growth due to exposure to air. Waste products of bacteria are usually gases w/c causes foul odor smell, thus halitosis occurs.

If you had already done proper hygiene in your oral cavity and the halitosis is stll there, try to eat some mint/menthol candies w/c are safe to your teeth (e.g. sugar-free). But dont swallow a mouthwash such as listerine or astring-o-sol. These are poisonous if drank.
