Have you ever got your wisdom teeth pulled out? If so did it hurt?

i just got my wisdom teeth pulled out and it hurts really bad. my face is swolen and i cant eat anything. what can i do please help

They gave me good pain killers and ibprofeun. but it still hurts really bad.

I'm a teenager and got them pulled out on friday because they where impacted and they had to cut my gum open and i think crush up the teeth and pull them out. but i was asleep when they did it

Yes, I got mine pulled out last year and it was a horrible experience for me. They say usually people don't experience it that bad, but not me... I was sick for 2 full weeks, on bed rest and throwing up and eating nothing but soups and crackers (dipped into the soup to soften). My recovery time being so lenghty might of been because I too had to get my bone cut in order to remove one of the 4 wisdom teeth, or maybe I was just allergic to the pain killers they gave me aftewards.. who knows. I wish you a quick recovery. Try eating soups and soaked crackers, or anything that is very soft to eat. Keep taking your pain killers. Good luck, dear. Hope you feel better much sooner than I did...... waaaay much sooner. I hear most people get better in a day or two, I hope this would be you.
