Well, if you go into a dental office, what they'll do first is take an x-ray and see how far the cavity is into the tooth.

Sometimes it's not possible to determine by an x-ray so the dentist may suggest to clean out the cavity first then see visually what's left.

From there it can go 2 ways, lets assume the best, that the tooth is salvageable. All the caries (bacteria) is removed and the tooth is built up and restored with a crown or restoration. Possible you might need a root canal treatment because the cavity may have been super close to your nerve.

The worst scenario is after the cavity is removed, there's not enough tooth left to support anything that will be built on top of it. The tooth will then be removed. Your next options are either to replace the tooth with an implant or have a dentist make you a bridge.

Some dentists will say that an implant is good because you're not cutting away your adjacent teeth to support the fake tooth. This is true and the adage "the more you cut a tooth, the more you weaken a tooth" is true.

Now, you have to consider that you may need a bone graft right after the extraction to preserve bone architecture. Ideally after a few months, the site will be evaluated and an implant will be placed in the bone. Following that an abutment (this is what holds onto the crown) will be placed on the implant, and a crown will be placed on the abutment. So the term "implant" refers to the part inside your bone and gums. Ultimately there's 3 parts to it. It costs time and money. From 2-6 months depending on what type of technique the dentist does. This will be totally out of your pocket.

The other option is a 3 or 4 unit bridge. Basically your adjacent teeth are used to hold the fake tooth. It's a lot faster and insurances will help pay a portion of the bridge.

It's confusing but the easiest thing is to go see a dentist.

same way i am i dont get it why!!!im having the same problem like you!!do ur teeth bleed????

Clove oil is the best home remedy for toothaches. Even dentists use it. I found the information at http://aches.in/toothacheremedies.html useful
