Question:
So i got my tongue pierced.....?
And there's a bump like thing on piercing on the bottom. Ive seen that other people have had the same problem and i was wondering what they found out??? If it was infected or if i have nothing to worry about??? And what did you have to do to get rid of it???

Absolutely normal. It's most likely just scarring and a little associated inflammation, that's all. After all, you do have a foreign piece of metal jabbed into your body :) Now, if it's not well cared for during the first few to several weeks (rinse 3 times a day with a 1 part antiseptic mouthwash / 2 to 3 parts water solution) it can get infected. So, if you feel pain, heat, and tenderness in the pierced area of your tongue, and particularly if it is "oozing" anything besides your standard white, firm pus (a byproduct of a healthy immune system cleaning up the wound, and totally normal) , and it's been more than a few weeks, you may want to see a doc, but more than likely that little donut shaped scar under your tongue is just that... a scar.
Don't worry though... not very many people get a chance to look at the bottom of your tongue from day to day.
At least I would hope not ;)
