Teeth/Braces Question?!
Question: I asked another question, asking if it is true that you get white/brown spots on ur teeth if you don't brush when you have braces, and the answer was that the color around your teeth change.
So, if you whiten your teeth, will it go back to normal? Because I am getting my braces off soon and I wanna know if I can fix it if that happens.

Well I think that the discoloration is from the glue they use to stick on the brackets.
I have some spots that are a little darker than the rest of my teeth. Most of the spots did wear away after a few good brushing and cleanings.
I do have one or 2 teeth that still have it but it is not noticeable unless you really stare at my teeth.

your teeth will eventually all be the same, itll just take time, just brush your teeth really well, 2 times a day
Well I think if it does happen....which it probably won't, I'm sure you were brushing fine!...but if it does and you whiten I would think that the spots would just get whiter and the tooth will get whiter....each will be whiter but there will still be a contrast. I'd say the best bet is to ask your orthodontist when you get your braces off what he/she recommends. Good luck! And enjoy....it feels glorious to get your braces off!!!!!!!!
