I grind my teeth, how much can I expect to pay to fix them?!

Question: My teeth are ground down pretty flat, more on one side than another which is the worst part - I have been able to stop myself from grinding most of the time and sometimes wear a bite splint to sleep, so they really haven't been worse in the past couple years, but my canine teeth are very visibly worn down especially. How much does it usually cost to fix them? One person I know who is older paid $1100 to fix all of his teeth, and they were much much worse than mine (he is more than twice my age, however). Can I expect to pay as much?

Crowns would be the only restoration you could use to build teeth back up. Each crown can cost close to $1000 a piece....depends on where you live. The dentist would have to take molds of your teeth and create a model to see which teeth would need to be restored.
As far as what you said about stopping your grinding. Don't be fooled my friend. It is related to stress and how we handle it. You may think you don't grind or clench anymore, but you do. It may not be as strong, but its there. Wear your splint...especially if you restore your teeth with porcelain crowns...you'll break them off over the years.....I've seen it.

more then if you where getting a heart transplant...
dentist=least talked about money grabbing whores
"omg u need a filling" how much? "1200" whaaaaaaaaa

it gonna cost alot! some dentist charge 50 to 175$ per tooth
call around and get prices

I'm not sure about fixing them, but I do know that the mouth guard that you wear at night time costs around $500 (it's not usually covered by insurance).

Just go to a dentist and tell them you want the cheapest alternative. They'll work with you.

my boyfrind does that too it is annoying as hell-o and i hate it when i try to watch t.v i cant hear it over his grinding. lol but it is not that expensive just call a dentist get an appt and ask him. then shop around for the cheepist price!! k good luk
