BOOKS? for dental hygiene and therapy degree?

I'm starting a degree in dental hygiene and therapy in september. Has anyone recently finished this or a similar course and have any books to sell? Or know where to get them cheaper? I've tried amazon and the like...Any help appreciated. Thanks

congratulations on getting a place on a course- that's your biggest hurdle crossed. Well done.

I qualified 16 years ago, but recommend you consider obtaining the following, which I have purchased recently. You may not find all the information you want in them and please bare in mind that they are American based.

it has a companion book that is absolutely brilliant. It tests your understanding of each chapter and gives you spaces to write notes. (if you fill it in in pencil, you can go back over it again for revision) Again its based on practicing in America, but it is still a fantastic book. Is great for revision.

Also recommend the following as I attended a two day course learning further techniques for blocks and infiltrations. The tutor for the course has produced a book and a DVD. it covers the anatomy you'll need to know and shows you techniques of how to administer them. The techniques shown may not be exactly the same as you'll learn in training, but they will be invaluable for the anatomy.
