It's not actually wise to get coloured braces. The colour is rubber bands connected to your braces and because of this it causes major tooth decay.
However, blue and purple are good

I dont know much about dental-stuff but if you can avoid it i wouldn't colour your braces. Brace look real nice when they lookm normal & natural. If you get coloured braces they might look to over-the-top.

Yellow are terrible & a friend of mine got clear ones & they turned yellow :-S

Dark shades of colors. red, maroon, blue, blue green, dark pink, violet, looks cool. but I am amazed on the neon tinge but relatively dark ones. they look good especially for not so white teeth.
