i was just wondering if our gums were a type of skin, just like teeth are a type of bone, can anyone who actually knows please tell me? i know i sound dumb

yup kind of skin but diffrent by some means like blood supply and cellular layring.( more of keratin and epithilial layring ; more pigmentation )but teeth are not at all bone..bone is formed by odontoblast cells, where as teeth formation takes place by Ameloblasts..Basically they are diffrent in nature,formationand behaviour
