How long does it take to get your wisdom teeth out?!
Question: i'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow, and i was wondering how long it would take.
and i'm getting them pulled ((just the bottom two)) so i'm not going to be put under or anything. just laughing gas and a shot.
but my tooth is half way under my gum.

Relax! Getting two lower wisdom teeth out should not take more than 30 to 40 minutes. In fact nowadways, the place where they will inject you in your gums will be painted with a mild local anaesthesia, and after two to three minutes they will give you the local anaesthesia by injection. After the prick you will hardly at all feel anything. And after ten to twelve minutes of full numbness to take effect the dentist will pluck your two teeth out painlessely. Oh yes if your tooth is half way under the gum, that also is not a problem. The doctor will use a scalpel (blunt one, OK?) and raise it up for the tooth to come out easily. He may or may not give you anti-biotics. By the way if you have any infection in any one of them ask him if it is ok to take x-rays. There is no harm in asking. We people here feel that asking is a sin. It is not. It is your right. And he shall answer you. and all the best for having your wisdom out! lol
You will be amazed at how fast this goes. Definitely under half an hour, maybe even under 15 minutes! They want to minimize your pain and their work, so it's a swift procedure. You will do great! Just think - it will all be over so very soon.
i don't remember, i got put under for my wisdoms, but it felt like 5 mins when i woke up, lol!

its ok it wil take about 30 minutesit took me 2 hours they put some thing on my nose and made me drowsy the bad thing is the numb needle it hurts bad! but u have 4 taken out so it wont hurt i had 4 taken out so it hurts and today it hurts to! i hope it goes okay Good Luck! and dont get tension it makes it worse just relax and think of something your going to do or something fun just keep your mind off the pain or you will get pain and remember it will hurt a lot for 24 hours and swell a lot but for you it will swell a little because you only have 2 taken out so its ok dont worry ph and again Good Luck!
