Gums only bleed because of gum disease. This is caused by plaque which is a soft, white substance which lightly adheres to your teeth around the gums especially.

Brushing the gums at the necks of your teeth will help, as well as cleaning inbetween your teeth, but bear in mind that it will bleed more when you do this. After you brush use a Chlorhexidine mouthwash (corsodyl) and rinse for 1-2 minutes, but beware it can stain your teeth if you drink things like tea/coffe or smoke after using it. Do all of this twice a day and over 14 days the bleeding will diminish greatly.

Hope this helps

Depends on why they are bleeding. Are you brushing too hard, do you have an infection, etc? If it's peristent, then talk to your dentist about it.

You probably have Ginvititis this is caused when bacteria is stuck between your teeth and gum line causing an infection in your gum hence why they bleed the best thing for you to do for this is to Brush 3 times daily floss and get little brushes to clean inbetween you teeth and if ou smoke stop it stops the healing of your gums there is also mouth watch out on the market to help heal this availible in your local pharmacy i hope this helps!!!

Brush and Floss. Yeah floss.

some people suffer with sensitive gums, I think you are either using whitener on your teeth or brushing too hard. Stop using this, switch to sensodine or other toothpaste and use a soft brush.

Consulting your dentist would be the best recourse. Sometime our gums bleed when we floss to much. Try flossing once a day before bedtime.

Use the softest toothbrush that you can find. Like ultra soft. Don't brush very hard and use Sensodyne toothpaste. Solved my problem!

Bleeding gums are mainly due to inadequate plaque removal from the teeth at the gum line.Other causes of bleeding gums are Brushing too hard and/or Improper flossing. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and floss regularly. My mom used OraMD? and it worked for her. Consult your dentist before trying anything new.
