Will they drug me?!
Question: Im going to have an absesed tooth removed after taking antibiotics for a week. My question is will they give me any type of drugs so i dont feel them ripping the tooth out of my mouth. What exactly do they do......im scared i hate dentists

They don't just rip teeth out without giving you something to numb the area. The thing that will hurt worst is the stuff they'll inject into your gums. Other than that, you won't feel anything...could be a little sore later...if you're really worried, take a tylenol half an hour before you go.
Whatever you do, don't go onto sites like WebMD. Although formative, they're quite terrifying to people who don't understand a lot of things about medicine and such. You'll be fine.
They will inject shots in your gums of novacaine. It's also possible you will get a full anesthesia if it's best for the procedure.
Use nitrous first then injection & you will only feel pressure. Will be sore afterwards. Doc W
