You know, some beautiful people have a gap - seen Lauren Hutton on TV? I can understand your self consciousness, but honestly, the smile is often so beautiful the gap is never seen. And, yes, I did go look at the photos and you have a beautiful smile, the gap was barely noticeable!
If this stays a problem for you, you can always do something, but try building your self esteem first. You appear to be in your teens, which is a time we are all very hard on ourselves. If you still can't handle the gap, let your dentist pick the treatment. The braces are expensive, sometimes painful, you might even need to have some muscle cut from between the teeth like my sister did to let the braces do their work. Veneers are cool, but you are young and would they last your lifetime like fixing it with braces would?
Anyway, you're young, cute, and have a great smile. What could be so bad?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Some guys will like it. Some guys will not like it.
.

Works for Madonna....why can't it work for you? haha.

I have a rather large gap like yours....and I didn't like it for a long time....the thing is though, other people did.....I wore braces - for years! and then a retainer, yada yada....that gap aways came back in a matter of a couple days when they said I could stop wearing it.....

I finally made peace with the gap - I realized the people who liked it all along were right - its what gave my face its "fit" to my personality, its individuality, its spirit. I kinda dig it now....

And goodness knows, a woman who is attractive, is the the one who is at home in her own skin.

Well, you know what I would do if I were you Ask the dentist if he can fix that. Don't be ashame of asking questions. If someone bugs u about that just tell them to bug off....
BEST OF LUCK

Hi

I wouldn't worry too much about the gap unless the dentist says its a problem - they look fine to me but i'm not a dentist.

I would say that at your age you would get barces for a couple of years and these are better to get when your young.

Madonna has a gap so and isn't she sexy ?

Remember 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' so if you are going to get something done only do it for yourself :)

One of my best friends had a gap (average size I suppose) and she was self- conscious about it for years. But now that she's older, she's actually embraced it.
Everyone it right, beauty is only what people think it is. You're teeth are nice, it's not like they're all crooked.. but you have to realize that sometimes people judge.. especially in the corporate world.. I would get it fixed.

**And the thing about retainers --is that they're a life- time sort of thing. Once you have braces, you have to keep wearing retainers or your teeth will get crooked again.

Good Luck with your decision making.

You are a beautiful girl and look ok w/your gap, but if you are self conscious about it, people tend to pick up on it and will tell you it's cute to put you at ease.

I had my 2 front teeth capped because of a gap and after a few yrs they are separating. I am self conscious about it as well and will get them recapped again as I feel I look better when the gap is filled in.

If you do decide to fix them, see what your dentist suggests and go from there. If you get caps/veneers, look at photos from the dentist he has done or ask around to see what dentist does the best work. I had my teeth capped several times and the 1st time was a bad job and didn't do my homework on that dentist. Best of luck to you.

If it bugs you a lot, get it fixed. If you're fine with it, leave it alone. These people who bring up Madonna or Lauren Hutton are kinda silly. There's 2 women out of like 3 billion on the earth who look sexy with a gap in their teeth. Honestly, most women don't.

I think there are simpler ways to fix it besides braces or vaneers. The rest of your teeth look fine, just fill in that gap. Maybe get them capped or crowned to fit them together better. That gap will be gone.

Having a gap between your two front teeth is part of who you are, however, I was like you and very self concious, so i decided to have mine fixed via braces. I hope this helps and remember that is only one quality about you. but it does not define who you are. If you have a boyfriend i hope that your teeth are not what defines how the relationshp turns out.
