Injection of anaesthesia in the gumline?!

Question:

Injection of anaesthesia in the gumline?

does injecting the anaesthesia for wisdom teeth removal hurts? or you wouldnt feel anything that's painful afterall?
where is the anaesthesia be injected by the way? thanks for the support!

Answers:

It doesn't hurt t just feel a bit strange. First the dentist will put a dollop of topical aneasthetic on the place to injected, usually at the back of your gun line near the hinge of your jaw. The aneasthetic will then be injected, you wont' feel the needle go in but as the stuff is being injected you will feel a bit of pressure and stinging for about 30 seconds. You wil feel the most pain after the precedure when the aneasthtic wears off.

Good Luck
