I had to get a cavity filled today, so they numbed my mouth. How to get rid of this quicker?! Its the most annoying feeling in the world.

Talk a lot. Sure, you sound like a stroke victim, but it gets the blood flowing; which in turn, lessens the sensation.
Next time, ask your dentist to use a different numbing agent--one that has effects that wear off faster. Maybe a 2% solution instead of a 4%.
