Im getting rubber bands for my braces! help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
in about a month im getting rubber bands for my braces. i already have the hooks on my top and bottom teeth. i was just wondering is it ok to wear someone elses rubber bands [clean ones] or does it depend on the braces and person [i have damon braces (half clear half normal)]because i wanted to see how they felt and get used to them or can they mess up my teeth?

You shouldn't wear someone else's rubber bands unless you're positive that they're exactly the same as yours (my brother and I had the same ones for a while so we shared the bags). Also you shouldn't wear rubber bands until your ortho tells you to, because there are several different positions to put them in and you want to be sure you wear them right or it could really screw you up and make it take longer.
So.. I would recommend waiting for your ortho to tell you what kind and how to wear them. It'll hurt for a few days but you'll get used to it and won't even really notice them after a while.
*btw.. commenting on Rover's reply - you won't need a mirror after a while. They are really awkard to put in at first but you'll definitely get used to it and you can do it without looking. Heck, my sister could take them out with her tongue :D
