What's growing in my mouth?!

Question: As a result of researching health risks and inability to skateboard, I recently quit smoking. I've been paranoid about the health probs associated since quitting, and in examining my mouth, I noticed something. I have small "growths" under my tongue. Sort of resembling what are referred to as "skin tags," except onder my tongue.

I'm freaking out! What's going on?!

Is this something normal that's harmless, or may have always been there?...or something brought on by smoking/ something else?

It's hard to say without seeing your tongue. The best way for you to find out is to go see your dentist. If they aren't sure they may send you to an oral surgeon for a look. If the surgeon feels it's necessary they might do a biopsy. A lab would then give you a result of the findings. All this may not be needed, but it'll give you answers. Don't freak out yet & congrats on quitting smoking!

Drew Johnson's duck...u=i oh wait he doesnt get bj's cause hes a VIRGIN

I have something like that too. the dentist did an exray and found it was just a calcium deposit. What ever you have is probably harmless too, but the only way to know for sure is to get it checked out.
