How mcuh does it cost to get braces?!
Question: I want to get them on my top teeth only and i rekon i'll need them for about a year. My teeth are quite crooked and uncomfortable because i sucked my thumb for 17 years! I am not eligible to get them on the NHS as i'm too old. I'd like the clear ones but i can deal with the metal ones if it comes to it as i have full lips that will hide them.

I belive they cost about USD $3,000 to $5,000 for metal braces without insurance. The clear, removable braces cost around USD $6,000.
Whichever method you choose, it's going to be expensive. Plan on wearing your braces for 12 -18 months. Also, it's difficult to brush your teeth and eat certain foods with metal braces.
