Removal of wisdom tooth?

has anyone here experienced a wisdom tooth removal by a dentist?

does it hurt during the actual removal? or is it tolerable? tell me please coz i will have all my wisdom tooth removed with the help of anaesthesia..but im still afraid that it would hurt even with the presence of anaesthesia...

There are a lot of factors that need to be considered.

If any of your wisdom teeth are impacted then you are going to need to have oral surgery and that won't be done at the dentist's office.

If your wisdom teeth are not impacted and the roots are straight, it will not be any different than having any other tooth extracted.

It should not hurt at all during the extraction, but you are going to have some pain afterwards for a few days. If you are anxious about this then talk to your dentist about a mild sedative. If for some reason your dentist is not taking your feelings serious then ask some friends for a referal to another dentist. There is no reason why this should be causing you stress.
