-BRUSH - - a lot of time it's not the teeth that stain, but the plaque or tartar on the teeth!

-Bleaching (custom trays or whitening strips, if you are a candidate-(ask your dentist)

-Avoid staining foods/beverages (coffee, tea (brown or green) blueberries, wine, soda pop, tomato sauce)

-Avoid acidic foods/beverages (alcohol, gatorade, soda pop(regular, diet, or clear), citrus fruits.

-Try a whitening toothpaste (note: this will not "whiten" your teeth, rather it 'scrubs' away surface stains, as it is more abrasive). (note: abrasive pastes can cause sensitivity- discontinue use if you develop sensitivity)

-Avoid smoking cigarettes and/or chewing tobacco

-Chew sugarfree gum, use sugarfree cough drops/lozenges when needed.

-Avoid sipping on acidic beverages (each sip requires 20 min. to neutralize acidic environment of the mouth- so stay away from the Big Gulps and Route 44's. Your better off to drink it down all at once.

-Stannous fluoride toothpaste (a special prescription toothpaste) can cause staining;

-Chlorhexadine gluconate (a prescription gingivitis/periodontitis mouthwash) can cause staining.

To name a few...

Smoke lots of cigarettes

Try some gas,and a wire brush

crest white strips..
i leave them on longer than they say too.. i dunno if that's bad to do or not but my teeth are really white ;]

Go to the dentist or get whitening strips.

Get a high fluoride toothepaste and/or mouthwash.

crest white strips definitely! they help me so much. as well as the Rembrandt Plus toothpaste!

peroxide and baking soda

only use toothpaste that says whitening and brush 3 times a day
it should clear up a but after 2 months or so

I tried a million things and nothing worked well, and then I tried Lemon Juice mixed with salt and it worked great, noticed an improvement the first time.

Brush with baking soda and peroxide once a day, you'll see results in about a week or 2.

crest whitening strips worked for me but not for my brother, I used them for about 6 months before i saw some results but this could become expensive, you could also go to a dentist and ask for a teeth whitening and then just maintain them.

Avoid red wine, tea , coffee, and smoking!! lts true! Also lve heard crest white strips are supposed to be the best. lm not sure where to get them but just ask at your local pharmacy! Dont forget to floss!! Good luck! : )

brush at least 3 times a day, chew trident(optional), and brush 4 as long as u can..but if that doesnt work, there are these teeth whitener products available in most rite aids and walgreens
