Swelling after root canal?!

Question:

Swelling after root canal?

It normal to have a swollen cheek after a root canal two days ago. It's a little sore but the swelling is like someone stuck a golfball in my cheek. Is this normal? If not, then what could it be?

Answers:

Yes, it is very normal!

You can feel swelling and a bit of pain a few days after the root canal is done.

Then, for about a month, you might feel pressure on that tooth.

After that, your tooth will feel like any other healthy tooth.
