Dry socket??!

Dry socket??

i just got all of my wisdom teeth out tuesday,May 15 2007 and i wanna know when i cant get dry socket anymore and start smoking again after the risk of dry socket is gone...also what type of foods cant i eat and eat

Congrats! I got mine taken out on 5/10/07. No smoking for three days (if you HAVE to, cover your sockets with gauze first). Drink alot of fluids, nothing too hot or too cold, it will help in preventing dry socket. No drinking out of straws. As far as foods go, after 24 hours you can eat just about anything except for I would stay away from sharp or really crunchy foods. Its been a week for me and I'm back to eating whatever I want!
