Dental plans?!

Question:

Dental plans?

i'm trying to get braces? i'm look for a dental insurance or plan, that will save me money. anyone have ideas i prefer advice frome people who've actually had to get a a plan for dental cost. any of them cover those invisialign braces. thank you.

Answers:

Sorry, Spongebob, but dental insurance DOES cover Invisalign the same way they would traditional braces. If the policy has an orthodontic benefit, Invisaling will be covered subject to the same provisions.

Unfortunately, you are asking for an individual plan and you won't find one. So called "dental discount plans" such as Ameriplan and others will not help you. No orthodontist will be willing to write off 25% to 50% of their fees when there are plenty of patients willing to pay full fee. The costs alone will run the dentist over 70% of what they charge - so there is no way to deliver the product for a 50% reduction.

You can look into financing through Care Credit or Dental Fee Plan. Both of those are usually offered through the dental office.

You might save substantial $$$ by seeking Invisalign from a well qualified general dentist, rather than an orthodontist.
